CHRIS MONA(USA):

Chris Mona was born in Washington, D.C., in 1961. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in studio art in 1983 and received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1985. Mona works in a variety of media including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and artist’s books. He occasionally curates art exhibitions and writes about art. All of his projects examine aspects of everyday life and intersections with histories.
